"The common prosperity we desire is not egalitarianism. We will first make the pie bigger, and then divide it properly," said Chinese President Xi Jinping during his speech at a virtual session of the 2022 World Economic Forum.
Xi also said the acts of putting together exclusive small circles or blocs that polarize the world will gravely undercut international efforts to tackle common challenges.
