Some of the world's top public health experts are attending the Davos summit. They say vaccine equity is crucial to ending the COVID-19 pandemic. The World Health Organization's Emergencies Director Mike Ryan highlighted the vaccination gap. He said half of the world's population has received two doses, while the figure is only 7 percent in Africa. He said low inoculation rates in some countries can encourage viral mutations and lead to global consequences.
