One person has been killed and three others injured in a fire that broke out at an automotive battery factory in a South Korean city, Yonhap news agency reported on Friday.

The fire started at about 3:00 p.m. local time at the battery factory in Cheongju, some 140 km south of Seoul.

One person was trapped inside and later found dead. Three were rescued, sustaining no life-threatening injuries.
