An underwater volcanic eruption that spewed ash over Tonga and triggered a tsunami also saw communications severed for several days. But the country's largest mobile network provider has brought back a satellite link for international calls, and told CGTN it's hoping to bring 3G internet back to the main island in the 48 hours.
