A Tonga tsunami survivor shared his experience of being swept to the sea and making his way to another island. Lisala Folau is a retired carpenter from the island of Atata. The 57-year-old suffers from motion disability. Last Saturday, he was swept away by waves but managed to stay afloat in the sea for more than a day. He eventually made his way across 7.5 kilometers of the sea to the main island of Tongatapu.
