There're two spread chain, linked to the Delta and Omicron variants, currently going on in the Chinese capital in the latest COVID-19 resurgence, said Pang Xinghuo, deputy head of the municipal disease prevention and control center.

Since January 15, six cases with Omicron were discovered in Beijing and 37 cases with Delta, among which 10 remain asymptomatic yet.
