The upcoming Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has accelerated winter sports and development of the ice-snow industry in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. 

At the newly built ski resort in Wenquan County of Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, children can learn to ski and experience various games on the snow during the winter holiday. The snow season here lasts for nearly five months every year.
