The Lebanese cabinet is to finally hold a meeting on Monday after a 3-month gap. Powerful Lebanese groups Hezbollah and Amal said in a statement that they have decided to end the boycott of cabinet sessions to approve the 2022 budget. Prime Minister Najib Mikati said the meeting will potentially end a standoff that has paralyzed the government during a financial crisis.
