Chinese paddlers Wang Chuqin and Wang Manyu won the men's and women's singles titles, respectively, at the World Table Tennis (WTT) Macao event on Sunday.

Wang Chuqin defeated compatriot Lin Gaoyuan 11-8, 9-11, 11-9, 10-12, 9-11, 14-12, 11-9, while Wang Manyu upset fellow Chinese Liu Shiwen 11-6, 11-7, 11-7, 12-10.

"Although this championship is not as dazzling as the three major competitions, I have tried my best. I feel motivated as long as I love the table tennis," said Wang Chuqin after the match.
