Yeniu, or Latuohai, Valley in northwestern China is a haven for wild animals like blue sheep, Tibetan wild asses and yaks, which thrive there as human activities are limited.
The valley is located at the northern slope of the Kunlun Mountains at an altitude of 3,500 to 4,500 meters. It gets the name "yeniu" for its wild yaks.
