The death toll from a fire that started during clashes between two groups at a karaoke club in Sorong, West Papua, Indonesia has reached 19, local media reported on Tuesday.
West Papua police's head of public relations, Kombes Pol Adam Erwindi, earlier confirmed that more than 18 people had died in the fire.
The victims were burned to death after being trapped in the club as a result of clashes early on Tuesday morning. In addition, two cars and a nightclub were set on fire.
