The T302 train from Shenyang to Urumqi is the only direct train from northeastern China to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. With a total length of 4,181 kilometers and 29 stops, it is nicknamed the "National Unity Train" by the State Council.

This week, the local railway bureau in Shenyang threw a party for the passengers on board, bringing festivities throughout the long journey home.
