China's total number of registered individual industrial and commercial businesses grew to 103 million by the end of 2021, accounting for two-thirds of all market entities in the country, government authorities said on Thursday.

A total of 19,701,000 new individual industrial and commercial businesses were established in 2021, up 17.2 percent from the previous year.
