The West African bloc ECOWAS will meet virtually on Friday to discuss Burkina Faso, following a military coup on Monday. Reports say the ousted president, Roch Kabore, is physically well and being held by the army. Joseph Olivier Mendo'o, head of the African Youth Delegation, told us that people hope the coup eases devastation following jihadist violence.
