This year's Spring Festival Gala will feature a wide range of cutting-edge technologies. The 4th rehearsal of China Media Group's 2022 Spring Festival Gala was held Thursday. The show will be broadcast live on CCTV-8K Ultra-High-Definition channel. Thousands of 8K screens set up in cities across the country will simultaneously air the four-hour extravaganza. LED screens are used to create a 720-degree dome space, which connects the performance stage with the auditorium. The gala is known as "Chunwan" in Chinese. The annual show is broadcast on Lunar New Year's Eve when the Chinese enjoy family reunion dinners.
