A new batch of emergency supplies delivered by the Chinese military on Friday arrived in Nuku'alofa, the capital city of Tonga.

The disaster relief materials, carried by the Chinese air force transport aircraft, included drinking water, food, PPE, tents, folding beds, water purifiers and walkie talkies.

According to China's Foreign Ministry, since the volcanic eruption in Tonga, China has provided disaster-relief assistance through multiple channels.
