In an exclusive interview with China Media Group (CMG), Chinese Ambassador to Tonga Cao Xiaolin said that China's assistance with emergency supplies reflected the most sincere regard for the Tongan people. On Friday, Chinese air force transport aircraft, carrying 33 tonnes of disaster relief materials, arrived at Fua'amotu International Airport. It was the first batch of supplies sent directly to Tonga from within China.
