The Summer Palace was an imperial garden in the Qing dynasty (1644-1911). It has the largest natural ice rink in Beijing. Its ski park is open to the public for the first time this year.
The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics is to start on February 4. The Summer Palace is a landmark on the Winter Olympic Torch Relay routes.
