The Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 embodies the best of the human spirit, camaraderie, competition, and cooperation, said Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Chairman of Pakistani Senate's Defense Committee and Senator from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, who believes that the Olympic spirit is all about togetherness for a higher purpose: to excel and demonstrate one's skills. He further argues that holding the Olympics despite the widespread pandemic shows the determination, the will and the vision to bring together cultures, countries and continents on one platform, which is the platform of Olympism.
