The Beijing 2022 organizers said a total of 34 Games-related personnel tested positive for COVID-19 on January 29.  

Twenty-three of them were detected among new arrivals at the airport, and the remaining 11 were those who were already in the closed-loop COVID-19 management.  

These new cases also include 16 athletes and officials from various participating countries.
