Chinese transport aircraft returned to Guangzhou Baiyun Airport on Saturday after a round-trip flight of more than 20,000 kilometers.

The Chinese military had dispatched two Y-20 transport aircraft on Thursday with 33-tonne payloads that included tents, food, drinking water, personal protective equipment and walkie-talkies in order to respond to Tonga's request for volcanic disaster relief.
