Toshihiro Suzuki, chairman of the Association of Members of Ehime Prefectural Council for Promoting Japan-China Friendship, has sent his best wishes for the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics via video. 

He stated that this year marks the 50th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between Japan and China. Meanwhile, it is the seventh anniversary of the sister-city relationship between Ehime Prefecture and Shaanxi Province. He said he would like to take this unique opportunity to strengthen exchanges with China and promote friendly relations between the two countries.
