All 91 delegations competing at the Beijing Winter Olympics have completed registration, the Beijing Organizing Committee for the 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (BOCOG) said on Wednesday.

With Beijing 2022 to open on Friday, the arrival of athletes and other Olympic stakeholders has accelerated. In 24 hours between 6 p.m. January 31 and 6 p.m. February 1, 1,750 Games-related arrivals were recorded in China, BOCOG said.

It said 12,349 personnel had arrived in Beijing, with 117 leaving between January 4 to February 1.

Officials also activated 8,210 accreditation cards by February 1 for journalists, photographers and broadcasters to cover the Games.
