The tourism office of China's Macao Special Administrative Region held a grand dragon dance parade on Tuesday to mark the first day of the Year of the Tiger.

The celebration started at 11:00 and featured hundreds of performers, including a team of dragon dance performers with a 238-meter golden dragon, as well as 18 groups of lion dance performers who paraded through major landmarks in the city accompanied by festive music and the sounds of firecrackers.
