The seven-day rolling average for daily new COVID-19 deaths in the U.S. has been trending upward since mid-November 2021. Airlines canceled more than 1,300 flights around the country on January 4 in the wake of winter storms and as the fast-spreading COVID-19 omicron variant hamstrung crews.

So what are the current COVID-19 prevention measures in U.S. airports? How do passengers view them? Global Stringer visited JFK airport in New York to find out.
