Guinea-Bissau confirms 11 dead in failed coup attempt

Eleven people died during the failed coup attempt that took place on Tuesday, government Spokesperson and Tourism Minister Fernando Vaz confirmed at a press conference on Wednesday.
Vaz specified that the dead included civilians, security guards and soldiers, calling the act "violent and barbaric".
