When the Beijing 2022 opening ceremony is held tonight, two countries will make their first appearances at the Winter Olympics. The Caribbean island nation of Haiti and the Middle East kingdom of Saudi Arabia are not located in cold weather regions, but a couple of their athletes have overcome numerous obstacles to make history for their nations.
