Argentine President Alberto Fernandez has paid his first visit to China since taking office. He visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China and spoke highly of the achievements made by the Party. He also said his country is committed to the one-China principle on issues related to Taiwan, and wants to build strong relations with China. Fernandez attended the opening ceremony of the Beijing Winter Olympics on February 4. This year marks 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
