Gu Ailing, who is also known as Eileen Gu, is representing China in freestyle skiing at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. In 2021, at her first World Championships, the 18-year-old made history by winning gold in the halfpipe and slopestyle to go along with a bronze in the big air. Beijing 2022 is Gu's first Olympics, and she has marked her debut by qualifying for the big air final. Gu will also compete in the halfpipe and slopestyle.
