Guangxi's Baise City registers 56 new COVID-19 cases

Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region's Baise City confirmed 56 new COVID-19 infections between 4:00 p.m. on Sunday and noon on Monday, bringing its total count to 99 in the latest outbreak, according to local health authorities.
Two confirmed cases were classified as the Omicron variant, an official said at a news briefing on Monday.
