One person was killed and another was wounded in a shooting at a grocery store in the U.S. state of Washington on Monday, authorities said.

The shooting incident inside a Fred Meyer grocery store in the southeastern Washington city of Richland was reported at approximately 11:03 a.m. local time, said the Richland Police Department.

The suspect, believed to be armed and dangerous, is still at large and has been described as a middle-aged white male.
