Chinese figure skater Jin Boyang became the country's first male skater to win an individual medal at the World Championships in 2016, as well as the first athlete to perform a quadruple-Lutz triple-toeloop combination in ISU competition, at the 2015 Cup of China Grand Prix. Four years ago, the two-time world bronze medalist finished fourth at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics, and now hopes to reach the podium on home ice. After scoring 90.98 points to sit in 11th place and advancing, his journey will continue with the men's free skate on Thursday.
