A total of 42 freight trains traveled along the China-Laos railway route during the week-long Spring Festival holiday, according to Kunming Customs in southwest China's Yunnan Province. The freight trains carried about 20,300 tonnes of cargo worth 217 million yuan (about $34 million) from January 31 to February 6. More than 100 kinds of commodities were exported using the China-Laos Railway.
