Japan has decided to extend its quasi-state of emergency over COVID-19 in Tokyo and 12 prefectures into March. Japanese media says the government will add one more prefecture to the list. The measures include restrictions on the business hours of eateries. Meanwhile, a Japanese princess has been admitted to hospital.
