China opposes Quad's attempts to destabilize Indo-Pacific region

The Chinese foreign ministry said on Friday that the Quad alliance is mainly aimed at containing China and maintaining U.S. hegemony in the region. Foreign ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian claimed that the Quad's purpose is to ignite conflicts between countries. Zhao was speaking at the ministry's daily press briefing.
