Costa Rican president tests positive for COVID-19

Costa Rican President Carlos Alvarado tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation, the presidency said on Thursday.
Alvarado "presented mild symptoms of COVID-19 on Wednesday afternoon and proceeded to perform the PCR test, whose positive result we have already received," the statement said.
