Two-time world champion Lara Gut-Behrami from Switzerland won the alpine skiing women's super-G at the Beijing Winter Olympics on Friday.
The fourth-place holder at PyeongChang 2018 finished in one minute and 13.51 seconds in the one-run race. Austria's Mirjam Puchner was 0.22 seconds behind, while the bronze went to the champion's compatriot Michelle Gisin, who was 0.08 seconds further back.
The pre-race favorite, defending champion Ester Ledecka of the Czech Republic, was fifth in 1:13.94, falling short of defending her titles in two disciplines after winning gold in the women's snowboard parallel giant slalom on Tuesday.
