Biden, Putin expected to speak on Saturday

- U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said that a Russian invasion of Ukraine "could begin at any time." Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is accusing Western countries and the media of spreading a "large-scale disinformation campaign."

- French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday discussed Ukraine with Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in a fresh phone call.

- U.S. President Joe Biden is also due to speak with Putin on Saturday, officials from both the White House and the Kremlin confirmed.

- The U.S. on Saturday ordered all non-emergency Kyiv embassy staff to leave Ukraine. And a growing number of countries are advising citizens to leave Ukraine as soon as possible. 

- Russia said it has decided to "optimize" its diplomatic staff numbers in Ukraine, fearing "provocations" by Kyiv or other party.
