A cold wave has led to heavy snowfall and low temperature in east China's Anhui Province over the past few days, giving rise to the formation of spectacular silver-covered landscapes and rime sceneries.

The snowfall has added a special charm to Jiuhua Mountain in Qingyang County, Chizhou City. The snow-covered mountains under white clouds make a unique picture scroll like a fairyland.
