The Swiss authorities on Saturday advised its citizens to refrain from unnecessary trips to Ukraine, according to a statement of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Confederation.

"It is not recommended to make tourist and other non-urgent trips to Ukraine. It is not recommended to visit certain parts of the country," the message said.
