The United Nations agencies have allocated around $7 million to Tonga for 2022. Fifty percent of the funds will be reprogrammed to ensure that the UN addresses the needs of Tongans affected the most after the massive underwater volcanic eruption last month. CMG talks to Sanaka Samarasinha, the UN resident coordinator, about UN's support for Tonga's recovery.
