Chinese New Year greetings from South Africa

For the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has kept many worldwide from celebrating the Chinese New Year. And South Africa is no exception. But with fewer infections and restrictions being eased, Julie Scheier ventured out to see how Cape Town is ringing in the Year of the Tiger. From sipping tea and practicing martial arts to giving out red envelopes and meals with family and friends at a round table, the traditions of the Spring Festival are more alive than ever, 11,000 kilometers away from China.
