A 6-month-old giant panda cub has been capturing the hearts and minds of Singapore's residents since its public debut in December last year. The country had its first giant panda cub in August last year after multiple attempts. It lives in the Mandai Wildlife Reserve's River Wonders with parents Jia Jia and Kai Kai, who have been on loan from China since 2012.
The cub was named Le Le, meaning "happiness" in Chinese, which was announced on December 29 last year and decided by a public vote with more than 60,000 people submitting their choices online.
