Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday that the U.S. response to Russia's key security proposals was negative, RIA reported.

The U.S. had put forward concrete proposals on reducing military risks, but said responses from the European Union and NATO military alliance had not been satisfactory, said Lavrov.

Lavrov also proposed to continue and build up negotiations on security guarantees.
