China's embassy in Ukraine remains in normal operation and will provide consular protection and assistance to Chinese citizens still in the country, foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin confirmed on Monday. The statement comes as countries urge their citizens to leave Ukraine. China's Foreign Ministry has called on all sides to stay rational and avoid escalating regional tensions.
