Two world records and 13 Olympic records have been broken at the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Seven events were added this year, including women's monobob and mixed-gender competitions. The aim is to give female athletes more representation. The International Olympic Committee earlier hailed Beijing 2022 as "the most gender-balanced" Winter Games in history, with female athletes accounting for 45 percent of the total. That's up from 41 percent at the PyeongChang Games four years ago.
