People across China are observing the Lantern Festival at the end of the Chinese New Year holiday, or the Spring Festival, by holding traditional folk events, and with the serving of traditional dishes and snacks to mark the end of the annual festival.

Folk artists in Longxian County, northwest China's Shaanxi Province, present a Shehuo performance every year.

The Shehuo performance is a time-honored festivity in north and northwest China that includes dragon dances, stilt walking, lion dances and other folk performances.
