Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko on Thursday said that in the military sphere, Minsk will support Russia and the two militaries will operate at one pace.
Lukashenko noted that the United States is sending its military personnel thousands of kilometers away, so he does not quite understand the claims about the presence of the Russian military in Belarus.
The President of Belarus said that he does not see the need to deploy Russian military bases on the territory of the country, but advocates the further creation of joint training and combat centers, including for the development of Iskander operational-tactical missile systems.
