Two people have died after a magnitude-6.2 earthquake struck southwestern Guatemala early on Wednesday, collapsing roofs and triggering landslides.

As of 8:30 a.m. local time, authorities had reported two fatalities due to heart attacks. One was a woman in the city of Mixco, a western suburb of the capital, and the other was a man in the highland city of Quetzaltenango.
