China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has designated the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a national computing power hub node. China will start construction of computing centers under a new strategic project, which is designed for sending data from eastern regions to western regions for storage and calculation.
